New to Braver Angels? Curious about what our CT Alliance is up to? Already a member, but looking to put your talents and interests to work as a volunteer? Bring your questions, ideas, and enthusiasm to this brief info session with fellow citizens who seek civil conversations with those who hold differing views. Learn how you can help bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic!

1. Join Us

Become a member of Braver Angels for as low as $12/year. For those in Connecticut, joining Braver Angels automatically makes you a member of the local alliance. Enjoy benefits like free eLearning Courses, special events, volunteer opportunities, and more.

2. Volunteer

Once you're a member, you can start volunteering with the Connecticut Alliance. Whether it’s organizing an event or promoting our efforts, your help is needed to bring red, blues, and others together to talk, listen, and understand. Let us know how you'd like to help!

3. Get Trained

Members can also apply for free training programs offered by Braver Angels National that allow you to become qualified as a workshop Moderator, Organizer, Zoom Event Manager, Debate Team staff, or Ambassador.

Other Needs

You can also volunteer for:

  • College/high school program outreach

  • Writing local op-eds

  • Promoting Braver Angels, and establishing partnerships (e.g., Trained Ambassadors)

  • (New) Member Engagement
