The Braver Angels CT Alliance is a community of citizens made up of people from across Connecticut who have participated in a Braver Angels experience, committed to the Braver Angels Way, and chosen to keep showing up for better conversations and stronger communities.

Like all Braver Angels Alliances, we are intentionally balanced. Our Leadership Team includes at least one Red Co-Chair and one Blue Co-Chair, and we strive to maintain no more than a 60/40 (or 40/60) balance between Red and Blue members. Many of our members also identify as true Independents who don’t lean Red or Blue but care deeply about bridging divides.

The CT Alliance hosts conversations, workshops, debates, and community events that help people build trust, navigate tough issues, and find common ground—locally, where it matters most.

Over 1,200 state residents who have attended a national or local Braver Angels event or expressed interest in the work of Braver Angels are connected through our mailing list. Over 185 of them have already become members.*

Many members don't just attend events; they help organize them. From local conversations to workshops, members can play an active role in strengthening their community.

A member of Braver Angels is part of a national community—we are Republicans, Democrats, and Independents of all political persuasions. We form local alliances and hold local workshops and debates. We discuss our differences with civility and look for common ground. We encourage each other and we organize others to do the same.
