Braver Angels is leading the nation’s largest volunteer-led movement to bridge the partisan divide. Through community gatherings, real debates, and grassroots leaders working together, we’re creating hope — and showing Americans a braver way. Our aim is not to change people’s views, but to change people’s views of one other.
Current Openings
We typically need support in these areas:
Communication – Writing, editing, video, and graphic design for outreach via email, newsletters, website, and social media.
Administrative Support – Agenda and document management; data collection and analysis; event planning, promotion, and tracking.
Logistical Support – For the planning and running of online and in-person events.
Currently, we're accepting internship applications for these roles:

Media Creator
Copy Editor
Admin Assistant

About the Team
You will be working with the leadership team of the Braver Angels Connecticut Alliance. The Alliance is a growing group of citizen volunteers and leaders from community organizations, schools, colleges, libraries, news media, and other organizations, all working to progress Braver Angels’ mission within the state.
Who We Are Seeking
We enthusiastically welcome candidates from diverse political, racial, and economic backgrounds who are inspired by our mission to depolarize America, and are responsible, dependable, and skilled at time and task management.
We seek candidates who have:
At least 2 years of college education (required)
Excellent writing and communication skills (required)
Interest or academic work in political science, public policy, marketing, communications, non-profit management, or related disciplines (preferred)
Proficiency with Zoom and Google Workspace tools (preferred)
Strong academic or professional record (preferred)
Talent for design and marketing (preferred)
~5 hours of weekly work availability (preferred)
